Jim Gallup serviced the corporate, golf, camping, and retail markets since 1982 as President of Colorado Leisure, a Denver headwear and sportswear manufacturer. Remember tropical hats, neon caps and sportswear of the 80's, novelty headwear fabrics like denim, linen, scene prints, and embossed leather visors, 3-Dimensional embroidery, and the revolutionary, patented CAPSIZE™ "fully adjustable fitted cap"? These were Colorado Leisure "firsts" to the marketplace. The Gallup family sold Colorado Leisure in April 1997. After a two year transition out of his consultant role, Jim Gallup started up Four Iron in January 1999.

Jim Gallup managed the embroidery and headwear manufacturing production at Colorado Leisure for 12 years. Today, Four Iron does smaller headwear runs utilizing finished cap embroidery on import headwear blanks. We import embroidered headwear direct from our China manufacturing location, at a fraction of the cost of domestic caps or finished cap embroidered pieces.
